Description

We are growing and seeking reliable Carpenters with experience in commercial construction metal framing, drywall and acoustic ceiling projects and door hardware. Please note, must either be currently in the Carpenter’s Union or willing and able to become a member of the Carpenter’s Union.

Perform traditional light gauge metal framing, drywall and acoustic ceiling work and door hardware installation.

Duties &
Responsibilities

  • Minimum Carpenter experience in interior and exterior metal framing, drywall, and acoustic ceilings. Commercial jobsite experience preferred. 

  • Member of Carpenter's Union, in good standing, or willingness to become a Union member are required.

  • Reliable transportation to and from the various Project Sites.

  • Must be willing to travel, Projects range from New Paltz/Ulster to Plattsburgh and west to Syracuse.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements &
Qualifications

  • OSHA 10 hours completed and documented (with card) minimum.

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent, minimum.

  • Ability to perform basic math.

  • Physically able to perform assigned tasks.

  • Member of the Carpenter's Union, in good standing, or willingness to become a Union member are required.

  • Ability to read and understand blueprints is helpful.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Desire for field career progression is a plus.
